While we accept demos, you really ought to know up front that we’ve got our hands full with this operation and most likely will not put out your record, no matter how good it is — there’s always plenty of stuff that we want to put out, and not enough money to go around.

That said, we try to listen to everything, but we're not promising anything. If you do want to send us something, here's a hint: include a personalized note in with your demo so that its clear that you're specifically interested in putting out a record on Catsup Plate and not just any of the ten thousand record labels out there. That'll at least pique our interest.. If we're going to put together hundreds of copies of a record by hand, we'd much prefer that you're interested in Catsup Plate, its mission and its bands than just getting a record put out. If we get a CDR in the mail with a photocopied press sheet and nothing else, well, we figure that we should care about as much as you do and then we do our best to lose that demo somewhere between the Post Office Box and home.

Also: we don't listen to mp3 files, nor minidiscs, so keep that in mind as well.
